This June marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riot, a New York City demonstration. To commemorate it, we talked to 50 of our favorite LGBTQ writers (!) From Allison Bechdel and Irene Miles to David Sedaris and Said Jones that we talked about the best LGBTQ books that changed their lives. I got it. These are collections of novels, poetry, memoirs, and fiction that have brought them comfort, solidarity, and self-acceptance.
